My thesis workshop is on the 7th. My birthday is on the 7th. My Philo midterms might be on the 7th. Who says the number 7 is lucky? With the way things are going, I won't be surprised if I have 7 major submissions on the 7th. Damn it. The holidays on the 20th and the 27th better better better be enough.
Oh. And have I mentioned the immersion I have to go to? I must go to Bataan and be one with the FISHerfolk. Yes. Swim with the fish? I hate toe-biting, flesh eating swimming monsters. So bad for them. I know I'm tasty and all considering the amount of Kikkoman I have every day of the year but come on. The sea is saltier. One thing's definitely for sure na. It's going to be one hell of an ALAT weekend. Hay.

Yoyo Ma
Dahil nanood ako ng Pilipinas Game Ka Na Ba kaninang umaga, nabigyan ako ng inspirasyon na magsulat gamit ang sariling wika. Kaninang tanghali, ang aking nakababatang kapatid na nag-aaral sa Estados Unidos ay nanuod ng TV. Dahil sawa na sya sa mga programang banyaga, wala syang pinapanuod ngayon kundi mga palabas na lokal.
Nung nakita ko si Edu Manzano, doon ko lang nalaman na laos na pala sya. Sino ba naman ang papayag na maging anawnser o host sa ganung klaseng palabas at pumapayag pang sumayaw minsan minsan sa programa? Kawawa namang Edu.
Isa sa mga tanong kanina ay ano ang mga salitang kaparehas ng kahulugan sa salitang "TAMA." At ako, sa kabobohan ko'y walang naisip. Yung babaeng nakasagot ay nagbigay ng salitang "WASTO." Tama! At doon ko lang natandaan ang salitang iyon. Iwawasto ko ang inyong mga papel. Winasto ni: Atchoo. Oo nga naman. Corrected by. I will check your papers. Wala lang.
It's just sad that we're no longer able to recall words we used to know a long time ago in a jiffy. I mean, I know what wasto means. Well, I SORT of know what it means. Whatevs.
I just want to say, how do you describe Bach's Cello Suite No. 1? Or Chopin's Piano Concerto No.1 Op.11 E Minor 2nd Mvt Romanza? I mean, how do you put the music into words? Do you just write down the notes and let the reader see for himself? What if the reader doesn't know how to read notes or isn't that good of a musical person to recognize a masterpiece without hearing it first? Such questions are bothering me right now. How the hell do you describe music??? Hay.

Take heart!
I am cutting class tomorrow so that I can make primp up for the photoshoot. Hehe. Vanity is truly a sin. Ever seen Devil's Advocate? Yes. I love Keanu!!!!!
Harry Potter 5 sucked ass. The only cool scene was the fighting scene with the power balls. Dumbledore throwing an energy ball at Voldemort and Voldemort absorbing the ball , controlling it and throwing it back to Dumbledore!! Seriously. Even the scenery wasn't that good. Does anyone remember the 3rd movie? That Scottish lake? Hello? Cho Chang is so ugleh. Man, how can Harry Potter like someone like her? Talk about the Oriental rage. Apparently, whites/caucasians have a thing for Asians these days. If you're white and you have an asian partner, you're cool and hip and in. Whatever!
Ate lunch with the Logkada yesterday at Pasto. Keken, VaNeale, Aidz and Ives. Yep. The thing after got cancelled cause everyone made plans na pala. So Sad. Yes. With a capital S. Headed over to my stylist to get a haircut. Went to Greenbelt after, had oysters and fish with Chess and then watched the horrible so not worth it movie, Harry Potter 5. Luna Lovegood looks like a survivor from Village of the Damned starring Kirstie Alley and Christopher Reeve. Ugh. The last movie Superman made before he got paralyzed. So Sad. Capital S ulit. Freaky hair. Hehe.
Hasya is coming home August 3, Friday!!! Yay! I can't wait. She's actually going to be here for my 21st birthday.
The corny Harry Potter 5 speeches keep intruding my thoughts. Yak. Haha. The power of love and friendship is sooo overrated. Seriously.
