had my defense today. teacher basically trashed my paper. said it didn't have anything to do with literature. asked if it was actually literature. of course it is. it has something to do with literature. they are freakin' poems and essays and short stories. of course i researched. i even went to the chinese department and looked for literature.
i guess it's just really tough. kaye said i focused too much on the social/economic/political aspects. i should have made my paper more literary, applying theories like post colonialism, said's orientalism or i don't know what else. marxism? i don't know what to do. it's our final exam for god's sake. this is so frustrating because i have no idea what he wants. maybe i should just shoot myself and die right now.
just kidding.

aside from that, i have to entertain the guests. because some of them will be staying in my room. damn you spanish people for inviting yourselves in our home! spanish people from cebu have the most kapal faces of all! aside from my cousin and her children who are from there. and to think the only reason they're coming here is so that my dad who ONLY eats at chinese restaurants (except the occasional japanese) will make them libre good food. excuse me. we are not a charity house ahhh. and why don't you eat your own kind of food? get fat on paella or something? so now, the guest room's reserved for them. . . so all the beds in my room are going to be used by other guests. damn it!!!!!! final exam week po ito! i have no time to be nice and make space for people during exams. i am a bitch during exams week. the room must be super clean. it must smell a certain way. and tea must be served every three hours unless by request. taena. hassle!!!!!!!!!!!
went to gateway with kaye today. had fun. we should have more of those in the future.
i want to watch because i said so, pathfinder and transformers. and maybe that new mark wahlberg movie. anything with blood and gore, i'm game. don't want to think anymore.

Now don't go and do that. If you can't pass your class because one professor is a freak, you always have your humor to rely on. You could be on the comedy network.
Do you ever wonder why they are teaching you how to do the things they aren't doing themselves?? Maybe... Well, could it be???...they 'failed'?? How come all these people teaching business and such... economics, financial fields of all kinds... aren't listed along with Bill Gates in top richest lists?! Kinda Curious.
That has always struck me as odd.
